Established by Brenden Flanagan in 2013. Brenden opened an MMA club (TEAM BATCAVE) during his semi-professional MMA career between 2007 and 2017. Brenden is now retired from MMA, but still an active competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

 

Our MMA club had much success at Team BATCAVE, in Boxing, Muay Thai and Grappling over the years. With many medals and titles won. The BATCAVE is proudly a foundation for many local competitors and coaches.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu continues to be one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Brenden, now a black belt himself and his team are focused on training and developing the next generation of grapplers at Carlson Gracie Bracknell.

Many martial-art clubs are offering BJJ because of the impact and popularity it is having around the world. So why not train with experts who practice and compete in the sport on a regular basis.

Brenden and the team hold a number of accolades and medals from competitions around the UK and Europe. Our club is only getting bigger as more students join the club and raise the standards here at CGB.

Brenden had been involved with MMA since a young teen in the late 90's, turning his hobby into a semi professional career through his 20's. Before hanging up his gloves to focus on a career of coaching and developing the clubs future in his 30's.

Now 40 and after 10 successful years at the Bracknell Leisure Centre, we moved the team and family-run club to a fantastic space in Binfield Village. Soley for us and our students to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

 

Originally from Binfield himself, Brenden hopes to give back to the community he grew up in.
